Midaeum unlocks when you reach King Midas level 27 (1 Qatg (1E105) Gold; around 13 Dd (1.3E40) Diamonds).
There are 2 tiers of upgrades in Midaeum.
The first tier includes upgrades for each of the 9 standard buildings and also the University, these upgrades give a +200% production boost per level (Main Buildings) or +100% knowledge gain (University). Each level costs an amount of Raid Loots (2 varieties per building, the cost of the second always being 1) and also Gold.
The second tier of buildings are the Armory, Hall of Champions, Inn, Blacksmith, Sappers' Guild and Library. These unlock when each of the original buildings including the University are upgraded to level 10. (Achievable sometime during Aurelius).
When a building reaches level 20 its effects are doubled.
When you maxed all Midaeum building and have at least 1 Qivg (1e78) diamonds, you can access the War Outpost. You will be able to come back to Midaeum anytime you like.
